MVDecision ("we", "our", or "us") operates mvdecision.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — email address and password hash when you create an account.
- OAuth data — name and email provided by Google if you sign in with Google.
- Comparison data — the options, context, and AI results you submit. Stored only when you are signed in.
- Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostics.
2. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the MVDecision service.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To save and display your comparison history.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
We do not sell your data. We do not use your comparison inputs to train AI models.
3. Third-party services
- Supabase — database and authentication. Data stored in EU region.
- Vercel — hosting and edge functions.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- OpenAI / GitHub Models — AI analysis. Comparison inputs are sent to the model API to generate results.
4. Cookies
We use a single functional cookie to keep you signed in. We use localStorage to remember your theme preference and cookie consent choice. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
5. Data retention
Your comparison history is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual comparisons at any time from the sidebar. You can request full account deletion by contacting us.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@mvdecision.com.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of MVDecision after changes constitutes acceptance.
